The Public Squalor of Airport Security

A dearth of TSA screeners has caused enormous lines at airport security checkpoints.
An hour-long security line at LaGuardia Airport. I was in it.

The bottom line is that adding 800 new screeners still leaves the U.S. air transportation system with 5,000 fewer screeners than a few years ago.  This summer, meanwhile, airlines expect a record number of passengers.

My column on the subject.

  1. No one including yourself mentions that TSA fees doubled in July 2014 and not one cent went to TSA, yo general fund. Can you double your fee to your clients? So no what, raise TSA fees again, govt scam
